  • On March 30, HDFC Bank announced in a regulatory filing that they will use the Swiss challenge method for the transaction.
  • HDFC Bank has agreed to terms with a potential buyer.
  • The initial offer from this agreement will be used as a starting point for other potential buyers to make competing offers in the Swiss challenge process.
  • After the Swiss challenge process is completed, HDFC Bank will select a buyer, and both parties will then finalize the necessary paperwork.
  • HDFC Education operates three schools.
  • Previously, the RBI granted HDFC Bank permission to maintain ownership in HDFC Edu for two years after the merger of HDFC Limited and HDFC Bank.
