Modi 3.0 Cabinet Ram Mohan Naidu set to become youngest ever Union Minister

Srikakulam MP Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu (TDP) is poised to become the youngest member of the Central Cabinet under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at the age of 36. This marks his third consecutive victory since 2014.

Mr. Ram Mohan Naidu, son of former Union Minister K. Yerran Naidu, who himself was the youngest Cabinet Minister in 1996, holds a degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Long Island University. Initially inclined towards a career in Singapore, he returned to his hometown after his father’s death in a 2012 road accident, as stated in a party release.

Mr. Ram Mohan Naidu entered politics and quickly became an MP from Srikakulam in 2014 at the age of 26, making him the second youngest MP in the 16th Lok Sabha.

His close ties with TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu helped him rise swiftly in politics.

Mr. Ram Mohan Naidu served as the TDP national general secretary. During critical moments, like when Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in the skill development scam, he played a crucial role alongside Nara Lokesh in Delhi.

Their combined efforts helped them navigate political challenges in Delhi, garnering support from key leaders.

Mr. Ram Mohan Naidu serves on various Parliamentary standing committees and received the Sansad Ratna Award in 2020 for his outstanding performance as an MP.
