As the vote counting of the Maval Lok Sabha constituency is set to take place at Balewadi Stadium on 4th June 2024, significant traffic changes and parking arrangements have been announced by the Pimpri Chinchwad police. To ensure smooth traffic flow and manage the influx of people, detailed plans have been laid out.

Changes in Traffic

Date and Time: 4th June 2024, from 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM

  1. Road Closures:
    • The road in front of Balewadi Stadium Main Gate, from Uttam Sweet (Puneri Sweet) Chowk to Mhalunge Police Chowki, will be closed to all vehicles.
  2. Alternate Routes:
    • Route 1: Vehicles from Chande-Nande and Mhalunge should turn right at Uttam Sweet (Puneri Sweet) Chowk, then proceed from Mhalunge Police Chowki towards Radha Chowk and onwards to their destinations.
    • Route 2: Vehicles from Radha Chowk should turn left at Mhalunge Police Chowki, then proceed to Mhalunge, Chande-Nande, and onwards to their destinations.
  3. Restrictions for Heavy Vehicles:
    • Entry of heavy vehicles will be closed from Mhalunge Gaon to Radha Chowk and vice versa.
    • Alternate Route for Heavy Vehicles:
    • From Chande-Nande, turn left from Godrej Circle, proceed to Hinjawadi via Maan.
    • From Baner Road and National Highway, turn right from Radha Chowk and proceed to Hinjawadi via Wakad Naka.

Parking Arrangements

  1. Parking 1:
    • Reserved for Maha Vikas Aghadi workers.
    • Location: The road between Mhalunge Police Chowki and Uttam Sweet (Puneri Sweet) Chowk.
    • Additional Space: Open area behind Khandoba Mandir for vehicles coming from Radha Chowk.
  2. Parking 2:
    • Reserved for Maha Yuti workers.
    • Location: Savrahas Road from Orchid Hotel Highway Gate to Mula River Bridge.
  3. Parking 3:
    • For candidates of other parties and their workers.
    • Location: Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Mhalunge.

General Advisory

Traffic will be diverted as necessary from 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM to manage congestion and ensure smooth flow. Citizens and motorists are advised to use the alternative routes provided and adhere to the new traffic regulations during this period.
