From January to October 2023, spending by Indian tourists increased by about 30% compared to the previous year.
This increase is linked to smoother visa processing, better flight options, and a wider range of tourism activities available, including food, sports, culture, and adventure.
In 2023, 1.7 million Indian tourists visited the US, and 1.2 million new visas were issued to Indians.
The US has opened 250,000 new tourist visa appointments for Indians.
To speed up the process, the Consulate in Hyderabad now schedules 3,500 appointments daily, even on weekends.
