India’s average income per person has doubled since 2014-15, according to the National Statistical Office (NSO)
India’s average income per person in basic terms has doubled to Rs 1,72,000 since 2014-15 when the Narendra Modi-led government took office. However, there’s still a problem with how this money is spread out among people. According to the National Statistical Office (NSO), the yearly average income (net national income) at current prices is now estimated at Rs 1,72,000 in 2022-23, up from Rs 86,647 in 2014-15, showing an increase of about 99 percent.

Chattopadhyay’s first published piece, ‘Kamakhya Bhraman’ (visit to Kamakhya), appeared in ‘Dainik Basumati’ in 1961.
