The Indian Navy carries out a significant exercise called TROPEX-23

The Indian Navy’s exercise, TROPEX-23, took place in the Arabian Sea over four months from November 2022 to March 2023. Around 70 Indian Navy ships, six submarines, and over 75 aircraft participated. TROPEX-23 is conducted in multiple phases to test the Navy’s readiness for different scenarios, including transitioning from peacetime to wartime. The first phase included the coastal defense exercise ‘Sea Vigil’ along India’s entire coastline and island territories on January 12-13, 2021.
