  • Indian passports are the most affordable when considering the cost per year of validity, but they offer visa-free access to only 62 countries. The UAE tops the list for affordability and visa-free access. A study by Compare the Market AU analyzed passport costs, their cost-effectiveness over time, and the number of countries offering visa-free access. Mexico has the most expensive passports at US$231.05 for 10 years, followed by Australia at US$225.78. India ranks second cheapest overall, priced at US$18.07 for 10 years, while the UAE offers a 5-year passport for US$17.70. India has the lowest cost per year of validity at US$1.81, followed by South Africa and Kenya at US$3.05 and US$3.09 respectively.
