Nitin Gadkari Issues Notice to Congress Leaders Over Misinterpreted Video

Union Minister and BJP leader Nitin Gadkari has sent a notice to Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress leader Jairam Ramesh. It is claimed in this notice that the video was posted on social media by misinterpreting a statement made by Gadkari.

An attempt to create a rift with the help of video

According to the information received, this video is of 19 seconds and is being used to defame and create confusion among BJP leaders, the notice said.

Video has been tampered with

In the notice issued by Gadkari, “a video shared on Congress’s microblogging site X has been interpreted differently. This video has been tampered with. The claim made through this video is without context and has no basis,” it said.

Congress posted a partial video

In this 19-second video shared by Congress, Nitin Gadkari is seen talking about the poor, farmers and citizens of rural areas. “Citizens of rural areas, poor people, workers, farmers are suffering. There are no good roads in rural areas. No water to drink. There are no good hospitals. There are no good copy schools,” Gadkari is seen saying in the video. Gadkari’s full statement is not given in this video shared by Congress. Prior to the above statements, Nitin Gadkari has spoken on urban migration. After that, Gadkari is talking about the efforts being made by the NDA government to improve the standard of living of the farmers. But those statements of Gadkari are not in the video tweeted by Congress.

Defamatory act

“Despite knowing the full context of the shared video, it was posted with Hindi captions deliberately hiding the meaning of the statements in the video. “This is an act of malice to defame,” the notice said.

Apologize within three days, or else…

Meanwhile, through this notice, Gadkari has asked the Congress to delete this video. Gadkari has also demanded to apologize in writing within three days. Through this notice, Gadkari has also warned that legal action will be taken if he does not apologise.
