West Indies Championship 2024: Match Results and Highlights

Guyana won against Jamaica by 212 runs in the 21st West Indies Championship 2024 match, and T&T Red Force beat Comb C&C by 120 runs in the 22nd match. Barbados won by nine wickets against Leeward Islands in the 23rd match, and Windward Islands secured a 158-run victory over West Indies Academy in the 24th match.

In the 21st game, Guyana scored 424 runs with top scorers Kemol Savory (155) and captain Tevin Imlach (101), while Ojay Shields took four wickets. Jamaica managed only 153 runs in response, with Veerasammy Permaul taking five wickets. Guyana declared their second innings at 147/4 and Jamaica scored 206 runs in their chase, losing by 212 runs. Kevin Sinclair and Gudakesh Motie each took three wickets.

In the 22nd match, T&T Red Force scored 591/7d, with Amir Jangoo (218) and Jason Mohammed (157) leading the batting, while Amari Goodridge took five wickets. Comb C&C replied with 238 runs, Anderson Phillip taking five wickets. T&T declared their second innings at 95/2 and Comb C&C scored 325 runs in their chase, losing by 120 runs. Bryan Charles took four wickets.

In the 23rd contest, Barbados scored 542 runs before declaring, with Kraigg Brathwaite (189), Zachary McCaskie (101), and Roston Chase (127) as the top scorers. Rahkeem Cornwall took five wickets. Leeward Islands replied with 288 runs, with Keacy Carty scoring 127. They were then all out for 311 in the follow-on, with Roston Chase taking seven wickets. Barbados chased down 58 runs to win by nine wickets.

In the 24th clash, Windward Islands were dismissed for 162 runs, with Joshua Bishop taking four wickets. In response, WIA scored 158 runs all out, with Gilon Tyson taking five wickets. Windward then scored 275 runs in their third innings, with captain Alic Athanaze top-scoring at 89. WIA were all out for 121 in the chase, losing by 158 runs. Shamar Springer took four wickets.

Kevin Sinclair dropped to third with 471 runs. Amir Jangoo jumped to fourth with 449 runs. Jason Mohammed climbed to fifth with 442 runs. Keacy Carty rose to sixth with 431 runs.

Sunil Ambris (409) and Kevin Wickham (387) each dropped four places to claim the seventh and eighth spots, respectively. Tevin Imlach (380) climbed from 24th to ninth, while Jonathan Drakes (365) fell from fifth to tenth.

Peat Salmon and Anderson Phillip stayed in sixth and seventh place with 28 wickets each, at 25.11 and 17.43 respectively. Shamar Springer and Veerasamy Permaul moved up to eighth and ninth place with 25 and 24 wickets respectively, while Khary Pierre fell to tenth place with 22 wickets.
