Criticism Surrounding Samajwadi Party’s Rajya Sabha Candidature Decisions
Akhilesh Yadav continuously talks about PDA (Backward, Dalit, Tribal), but when it came to Rajya Sabha candidature, SP did not nominate anyone from OBC and Muslim classes. Of its three Rajya Sabha candidates, two are from the general category and one from the Dalit class. Samajwadi Party is facing all-round criticism regarding this.

There is criticism within the SP that what is there in Jaya Bachchan, due to which the party is continuously sending her to Rajya Sabha, while many senior leaders and workers have been sidelined. SP workers have criticized top leaders of their own party on social media regarding Jaya Bachchan’s Rajya Sabha candidature.
